17th Annual National Golf Day successfully showcased industry’s
economic & societal impact
On April 30 - May 2 2025, the golf industry returned to Washington D.C. for the 17th annual National Golf Day, conducted by the American Golf Industry Coalition.
The event generated media coverage, social media engagement, and industry participation, effectively delivering key messages about golf's $102 billion economic impact, 2 million jobs, and growing participation across diverse demographics.
The three-day program included a keynote discussion with Jake Sherman, founder of Punchbowl News, a congressional reception at the Dirksen Senate Office Building featuring remarks from key legislators, and a conversation with NBC Sports' Steve Sands. AGIC facilitated more than 260 meetings with Members of Congress. In total, the event brought together over 250 attendees representing 40 states and 182 unique House districts.
In addition to the advocacy experience, attendees participated in two Community Service Projects at East Potomac Golf Course and Old Soldiers' Home Golf Course.
